Tall Bellflower

Identifying Characteristics:

- Leaves: Narrowly egg or lance-shaped, tapering at the base

- Stems: erect, herbaceous, milky sap

- Flowers: Light-blue, star-shaped, 5 lobed, flowers are in a leafy spike

- Height: 2-6' tall

Special Adaptions:

- Blooms from June to September/October

- Found in moist ground, open most woods, stream banks

- Native the U.S
